Facility History
The Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex was completed January1999 following a $1.7 million renovation project. The main building houses the coaches’ offices, training room and locker rooms for both players and coaches. A conference room, reception area and 3,000 square foot courtyard surrounded by attractive landscaping round out the facility. The complex also features a 1,000-seat grandstand overlooking six main lighted courts and nine additional courts.
The complex is largely regarded as one of the nation’s finest, hosting a multitude of NCAA tournaments, USTA events and Florida state high school championships. It received accolades for its beautiful grounds and architecture even prior to the 1999 renovation.
