George Sanders |
George Sanders grew up in South Carolina and moved to Lakeland with his family in the 1920’s. He went to the University of Florida for two years. After his stay at UF, Sanders worked as a produce wholesaler, rancher and as a real estate developer. He gained great success in real estate development in Ft. Myers, Florida. George Sanders initiated this gift in 1992.
Facility History
The Sanders Football Practice Field is lighted and has two full 120-yard grass practice fields with video towers for film evaluation.
