Senior Director of Development will assist the Executive Director of Development and External Affairs, UF College of Engineering, in building a comprehensive philanthropy program. This role has direct and primary responsibility for building the major giving, capital campaigns and planned giving programs. Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and eight years of appropriate experience. Preferred qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess five - ten years of progressively responsible leadership experience in development with a demonstrated track record of successful fundraising in a large scale university or one of similar complexity. Three years or more experience leading a high performing team of at least three,including prior management of development officers. Excellent oral and written communications and interpersonal skills. Working knowledge in these areas: Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, WWW browsers, preferably Internet Explorer, E-mail. Working knowledge of a donor database, contact management and tracking system. The ability and willingness to travel. A valid driver license and good driving record.

Senior Director of Development will assist the Assistant Vice President (AVP), Institute of Food and Agricultural Science (IFAS) in building a comprehensive philanthropy program. The incumbent will serve as one of the primary development officers on behalf of IFAS at the University of Florida. Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience. Preferred qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess six to ten years of major gift fundraising experience with documented success in cultivating and soliciting major gifts of $100,000 and above from individual and corporate prospects with campaign experience. Reporting to the Senior Director of Development & Operations - UF&Shands, the Director of Development for the College of Medicine's Department of Pediatrics is responsible for the implementation of a broad range of fundraising initiatives for pediatrics. He or She will focus primarily on acquiring major gifts, and including communications, public support groups and college services. The Associate Director of Development will focus on fundraising for the Warrington College of Business through personal contacts and facilitation of events that assist the development effort. He or she will serve as a strategic partner with the College and the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs (ODAA)/Foundation ensuring conformity with the central fundraising efforts and the overall university development and alumni programs and goals and in promoting a culture of philanthropy by broadening constituents' understanding of the value of giving.
