We know that sharing private information through a Web site is of concern to many people. Protecting your privacy is something we take seriously, so we want you to know how information is handled when you make a donation or reservation through the University of Florida Foundation Web site.
If you read or download information we collect and store the name of the domain from which you access the Internet, the date and time you access our site and the Internet address of the Web site from which you linked directly to our site. This information does not personally identify you. We use this information to count the number of visitors to our site and help us make our site more useful. Some of this information is gathered through the use of "cookies." You may set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. Please note that some parts of our site may not work if your browser is set to refuse cookies.
If you choose to participate in an online activity, we will not require more information from you than is reasonably necessary. Information required for form processing is indicated by bold typeface. All other fields are optional.

or by responding to other services or programs, we will use this

We have taken measures to secure both the information you provide and our physical premises. If you are transferring personal information, making a donation or reservation, we collect your information on our secure site. Any credit card information transferred is deleted immediately after processing. We use secure socket layer (SSL) encryption to ensure the safety of your personal information.
If you would like to modify your information or limit the correspondence from us or from the vendors we select, let us know by sending an e-mail to Foundation@uff.ufl.edu and state your preferences. You have the option to receive information only from the University of Florida, University of Florida Foundation and the University of Florida Alumni Association, and not from any third parties.
